My New Proposal to Holy Cross

This is an excerpt from my new proposal to Holy Cross.   It is written this way because Fr. Boroughs likes to distort words that are used in plain English.   I decided to help him out by putting definitions in the text.   This is very likely my last proposal to Holy Cross no matter how long this takes, except for adjusting expenses and anything else that increases with time.

Dear Fr. Boroughs:

I have a new proposal ( pro·pos·al  /prəˈpōzəl/  Noun.  A plan or suggestion put forward for consideration or discussion by others).  This proposal is submitted as part of settlement talks (talks regarding the determination of a dispute, etc., by mutual agreement) which the prior general counsel of Holy Cross began.   Your current general counsel appears easily confused.   There is no extortion (ex·tor·tion  /ikˈstôrSHən/ Noun. The practice of obtaining something, esp. money, through force or threats).    I wonder if your counsel has any experience with the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.  (“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”)

I withdrew the past proposal and anything prior because you are prone to distortions and never seek more information.   I have a new proposal, but due to past problems with distortions I am taking special care to help you with your problem with words.

Here is the new proposal:

1.  Fund the medical advice.
2.  Cover expenses.
3.  Make a substantial contribution to programs that assist less privileged people.

The single most debilitating aspect of dealing with sexual abuse is the delay in obtaining justice and resolving any issue.   I have experienced debilitating delays in every dealing with Holy Cross since ….. when I first tried to report the sexual abuse.   The delay stands out as requiring justice………
