The proposal I gave to Fr. Boroughs was drafted with the help of a medical professional who has known me for more than 20 years. This medical professional is also a witness to Fr. McFarland’s confidentiality commitment.
When we were done, I asked if it was fair — the proposal we drafted.
“Do you think they can do it?”, the medical professional asked me. “Yes, of course”, I replied.
“Because Holy Cross can do it, they should do it” was the response.
The main reason I believe this Vigil for Justice will take ten years is there is too much unwillingness in the Holy Cross administration to do what they can do.
