Fr. Boroughs Can End the Retaliation with One Order

When I restart the Hunger Strike for Justice, I am going to focus on the retaliation that began after Fr. Boroughs took office in January 2012 and which heated up when Holy Cross got a new lawyer over the summer 2012 and then worsened through February 2013.

Why?  There are two main reasons.

1.  Retaliation is very poor practice by the college in responding to victims of sexual assault.   I could write an essay about that….  and I probably will some day soon.

2.  It is something Fr. Boroughs can do something about with one order from his office.   The financial things, like funding medical advice, require the board’s agreement too.    Fr. Boroughs can end the retaliation very easily, but so far hasn’t.   That got my attention and I think he needs help with it, so I will restart the hunger strike.

The Hunger Strike for Justice will continue until Fr. Boroughs decides to end the retaliation.
